Dates announced for second annual
Aquatic Experience – Chicago
November 7-9, 2014
CHICAGO (January 9, 2014)—The World Pet Association (WPA) brings the industry’s first show with “everything aquatic under one roof” back to the Chicago area this year with its second annual Aquatic Experience – Chicago, November 7-9, 2014, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center.
More than 3,700 guests attended WPA’s inaugural Aquatic Experience – Chicago show in November 2013, which featured high-profile presentations including keynote speaker and aquatic ecologist Zeb Hogan, host of National Geographic’s Monster Fish. A thriving show floor of more than 85 exhibitors showcased the latest in aquatic trends and products from the most sophisticated aquarium keepers, local and national hobbyist groups, livestock and equipment experts, and the industry’s best and trend-setting manufacturers. Additionally, the event raised over $11,000 to benefit Pets in the Classroom, PIJAC Marine Defense Fund and the Coral Restoration Foundation.
“Our first Aquatic Experience was several years in the making, and we ultimately exceeded the expectations of vendors, retailers and consumers,” said WPA President Doug Poindexter. “We’re going to build on this excitement for our second year and continue to provide unique learning opportunities and activities for aquatic enthusiasts of all levels.”
