Rules and Regulations
A fifteen-dollar ($15.00) Entry Fee is required to secure a tank for all contestants, this includes contestant entry onto the show floor for Saturday and Sunday. No Refunds.
Set-up begins Friday, October 11 8:00am – 7:00pm. All tanks must be complete before the start of show Saturday at 10:00am.
Parental help is strictly limited to heavy lifting.
All water loading and electrical connections will be made by booth personnel only.
Parents may coax, encourage & suggest. They may not tell the child what to do.
Parents may not move, touch or in any way manipulate tank decor. When placing ’HEAVY OBJECTS’ in the tank, the Parent(s) must receive direction(s) from the child.
The contestant will provide:
▪ All Decorations
▪ Fish for Freshwater
AQUATIC EXPERIENCE will provide:
▪ A ten (10) gallon aquarium for freshwater fish with light and full hood (Tank: 20”L x 10”W x 12”H)
▪ 50 watt heater
▪ Ten gallon size power filter
▪ Chemicals to condition water
▪ Fish food
▪ Net for fish
At the end of the show all contestants will receive a participation ribbon, the aquariums and accessories as AQUATIC EXPERIENCE’s “Thank You” for participating.
To receive a free tank you must pre-register, set up before show and it must be properly decorated – NOT JUST GRAVEL AND A FISH.
AQUATIC EXPERIENCE & Booth Personnel reserve the right to disqualify any entrant for any reason.
AQUATIC EXPERIENCE and its representatives are not responsible or liable for the loss, theft, damage or condition of the fish, decorations or equipment.
All tanks not claimed by 6:30pm Sunday night (10/13/2019) will be donated to local school classrooms.
Judges decisions are final.
